Since 2014, our R&D team has explored the Impact and Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Internet of things, and Robotics; to develop sustainable models of Agriculture and Waste management.
Our journey to build a technology-infused farming solution, has been a multi-disciplinary passion research project. None of us had any prior farming experience, so we learnt from the best (Research papers of hydroponic farming- last 70 years- primarily Cornell university and University of Arizona). It encompassed cross cutting of following disciplines :
2020 witnessed the worst pandemic of our generation, the COVID-19, which further pushed us to invest more time and resources, to develop a prototype of a machine learning based hydroponic farming solution. Our objectives were clear and as follows :
Fresh Food (Pluck and Eat Model)
Zero chemical produce
Vertical farming ( 3x less area )
Reduce Water consumption (up to 90%)
Reduce Electricity consumption
Nutrient Supply Management and pH control
Both commercial and home applications
Reduce carbon emissions
To deliver hassle-free indoor, controlled environment, hydroponic farms and develop a crop-specific robust Machine Learning Model to predict yields and efficiencies of the system.
